The City of Keene Public Works Department will be accepting excavation permits for planned, non-emergency work by close of business on Friday, November 17, 2023. Restoration of all pavement and sidewalks disturbed by excavation work must be restored no later than close of business on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
Emergency excavation permits will be considered by the City Engineer after November 17, 2023 if necessary to restore service to existing customers. Emergency excavations will require temporary patch followed by removal and replacement next season.
