Downtown Keene is open for business, and on-street parking along Main Street and Central Square is now free for up to two hours through December 31, 2026.
To keep downtown businesses easily accessible during construction, the City Council approved this two-hour courtesy parking window. Drivers must still register their vehicle license plate using the ParkMobile app, a nearby parking kiosk/paystation, or text-to-park. The two-hour time limit remains in effect to ensure regular turnover for business customers throughout the day. If you plan to stay longer than two hours, convenient multi-hour parking remains available in our Commercial Street and Gilbo Avenue public parking lots. Detailed parking locations and maps are available on the Parking Services page at KeeneNH.gov/parking
