Parking is also free on January 1st, New Year's Day. *Time limits still apply* to ensure everyone has an opportunity to dine, shop, explore, and enjoy downtown Keene. So, for example, if there is a 2-hour limit for a particular space, that limit still applies during periods of free parking. Many local children will receive toys and gifts this season thanks to generous donations from the Keene Police Officers Association and the Keene Police Supervisors Association. Officers, supervisors, and their families helped pick out the gifts, with support from Walmart—whose additional donation helped stretch every dollar even further. This generosity will bring smiles to many young faces, and we’re grateful to everyone who made it possible.
