Please be advised that on Saturday, May 31, 2025, the New Hampshire Fire Academy will be conducting live fire training evolutions involving small, controlled brush fires in the wooded area behind the Fire Station located at 110 Hastings Avenue.
These exercises are part of a scheduled training program and will be conducted under the supervision of certified State of New Hampshire Fire Instructors. All necessary permits have been obtained, and proper oversight has been implemented at the state level.
Residents in the area may observe smoke and visible flames during the training. There is no cause for concern. Firefighting apparatus and equipment will be on-site to ensure safety and protect all nearby properties.
