The Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport (EEN or the Airport) is classified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a “Regional” general aviation (GA) airport. It is a vital transportation hub and economic link for western New Hampshire and the Monadnock Region. Since the Airport was dedicated in 1943, it has grown with the strong leadership of the City of Keene, which has guided development and operations into a robust transportation facility. Prospective tenants and aircraft owners regularly approach the Airport to base their aircraft at EEN, and the Airport wants to prepare for and protect future development with this siting study of available areas.
