Books & Reading

  • Looking for eBooks? We have a page dedicated to eReading and eListening.

  • If you want to keep up on a favorite genre, sign up for a KPL newsletter with recommended books on various topics. You'll get a regular email with new and back-list book suggestions.

  • Want to know what new books, DVDs, and CDs the library has recently purchased? Sign up for a free weekly email of our latest books, ebooks, movies, and music. See and request our new purchases on our Wowbrary page.  Or check out our New Title lists.

  • Try NoveList!  Find books or authors similar to ones you like or learn more about a favorite author. Search for books for children, teens & adults. For NoveList help, visit the NoveList Support Center

  • Another good resource for finding your next book is FantasticFiction. Find out what book comes next in a series or what new book your favorite author is about to publish!

  • Book Discussions

Book clubs are a great way to share the joys of reading and keep up with trends on the latest books and broaden one's tastes. We have several book discussions that you can join. Or we can provide advice to help make your club run more smoothly. To find out what book clubs and book discussion groups are going on at your library this month, check our online calendar

    Book Discussions in the Community

Are you looking for a good book to discuss at your book club? The New Hampshire Library Community is pleased to announce its READS-TO-GO Book Club Kits. These Kits include 15 copies of a discussable book, discussion questions, author biographies, and information on starting and keeping a book club energized. Check out the READS-To-Go Website to see what books are available, and then contact Gail Zachariah at 603-352-0157 for assistance. You may want to consider selecting one of these books for your next book discussion.
