As construction activities continue in Central Square, please see below for the latest traffic and parking impacts expected for the remainder of the week. We appreciate your patience as this work progresses and encourage motorists and pedestrians to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
Summary of Traffic and Parking Changes for the Remainder of This Week:
- Parking spaces on Central Square between Winter Street and West Street will remain closed during active construction.
- On Thursday and Friday, July 23-24, the slip lane from Central Square onto West Street (outbound) will be closed.
- On Thursday and Friday, July 23-24, southbound traffic on Central Square approaching Main Street will be reduced from two lanes to one, as needed.
On Thursday and Friday, July 23-24, inbound traffic on West Street will remain open but will be reduced to one lane, as needed.
