Keene, NH, June 23, 2025:
A gyrocopter, a small aircraft that uses a combination of fixed-wing and rotorcraft technology, landed short of runway 14 at the Keene Airport this morning shortly before 10:00 A.M. The pilot was the only occupant at the time, walked away from the aircraft uninjured, and was undergoing evaluation with ambulance and EMS staff who arrived on the scene shortly after it was reported.
The airport’s primary runway remains open at this time; however, the crosswind runway is closed temporarily.
