Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport (EEN) Reconstruct Taxiway ‘A’ (3,500’ x 35’) Reconstruct Taxiway ‘A3’ (440’ x 35’) and Reconstruct Taxiway ‘T’ (250’ x 25’)

Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport (EEN) is working on a taxiway reconstruction project on the airfield for taxiways ‘A’, A3’ and ‘T’. The existing pavement has served its design life and is being reconstructed. The Scope of Work items will include but not be limited to erosion control, demolition, lighting, storm drainage, grading, paving, and marking and turf restoration for disturbed areas.

Project Update: Construction is scheduled to resume on Monday, April 20, 2026, and is tentatively scheduled to be completed on Friday, June 5, 2026. This is a period of 47 days. During this time there will be periods of time that portions of TXY A as well as TXY C and TXY T will be closed. There will be days when daily closures happen to runways, but not both runways at the same time. NOTAMS will be issued in advance, and project status updates will be issued.

Upcoming Impacts:

  • Thursday, 4/16/26, Runway 14/32 will be closed between 7:30 am local and 3:30 pm local. In reality, the work should only take 2 or 3 hours, and the runway will reopen when work is complete.
  • Monday 4/20/26 through Monday 4/27/26 Taxiway A between Taxiway T and Taxiway A2 will be closed.
  • Monday 4/20/26 through Friday 5/1/26 Taxiway C will be closed.
  • Monday 4/20/26 through Friday 4/24/26 Runway 02/20 will be closed from 7:30 am local to 3:30 pm local. When possible, a 1-hour prior permission required exception will be made; it depends on the work happening each day to determine if the PPR will be possible.
  • Monday 4/27/26 through Friday 5/1/26 Taxiway A between Runway 14/32 and Taxiway A2 closed.
  • Monday 4/27/26 through Friday 5/22/26 Taxiway T closed. During this time, there will be no way to get a plane in or out of the T-Hangar area.
