Maple Avenue will reopen to traffic at 6:00 p.m., May 1, 2026. Highway crews will begin removing barricades and covering signage starting at 5:00 p.m. to prepare for reopening. We thank the community for your patience and cooperation this week, including respectful travel through neighborhood areas during the Dinsmoor Woods red pine removal project. This work was necessary due to the presence of red pine scale.
While Maple Avenue will reopen, the project is not yet complete. Tree processing and hauling activities will continue over the next 7–10 days. Motorists should expect regular traffic patterns on Maple Avenue, along with periodic activity related to ongoing work.Thank you for your continued awareness and caution as this work is completed.
