The City’s Pavement Preservation Project concludes on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 with line painting starting at 7:00 AM on the following streets:
- Maple Avenue, from Park Avenue to Summit Road
- Park Avenue, from Summit Road to Maple Avenue
- School Street, from West Street to Gilbo Avenue
- West Street, from Base Hill Road to Park Avenue
- Stop bars and/or crosswalks on North Street, River Street and in the Edgewood neighborhood
Detours will be posted where appropriate, and flaggers will direct traffic around the work. To avoid transfer of paint onto vehicles, drivers should stay off all markings until the road is reopened to traffic. This may require turning right to avoid crossing center lines and reversing direction outside the work area.
