Starting at 7:00 AM on Monday, July 21, 2025, Island Street will be closed to thru traffic for road reconstruction work by the City’s contractor, SUR Construction. This closure will be in effect until further notice, Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Traffic will be restored to normal operations at the end of each day.
Detour: Traffic will be redirected around Island Street via Pearl Street. Please avoid the area if you can, stay alert, follow all traffic signs and crew instructions, and be patient.
