As part of the City of Keene’s sewer rehabilitation program, GVC Construction will be replacing existing sewer standpipes with standard-size sewer manholes in the East Keene area. The project will begin on Monday, September 15, 2025, and is expected to last approximately three months. Work will occur on the following streets:

During this time minor disruptions to vehicle and pedestrian traffic may occur, including temporary lane and sidewalk closures, to safely perform the work. We appreciate your patience as we complete these important improvements to the City’s utility network.
Please note that all work areas will be clearly marked and properly barricaded. Drivers and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution near construction equipment and to follow the instructions of traffic control personnel and signage.
