The City of Keene invites residents, families, business owners, and interested stakeholders to join a community engagement session for the proposed Gilbo Avenue Solar Pavilion Project. This multi-purpose pavilion is envisioned as a welcoming community space that combines mass timber construction with solar energy generation to support the farmers’ market, downtown events, food trucks, and year-round activities.
Following the July engagement sessions, the project team has updated the conceptual layout based on community input. Feedback on the revised concepts will help the City select a preferred design to advance into engineering and development.
Date: Tuesday, September 15
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Cohen Hall, Keene Public Library
Meeting Agenda:
- Welcome and project overview
- Discussion of project goals and existing site conditions
- Presentation of revised conceptual pavilion designs
- Question-and-answer period
- Collection of community feedback
Community members are encouraged to attend, share their ideas, and ask questions. A brief feedback form will be available for attendees to indicate their preferred concept and provide comments. This feedback will help guide the project’s next phase.
