Status of December 2

Reminder: The City's renewed Keene Community Power program, with new prices for the period December 2025 until December 2027, takes effect starting with this December's meter read.

Current participants do not need to take any action to remain in the Keene Community Power program and receive the new pricing. The new community default option, Keene Standard, will now provide 50% additional renewable energy. All new Keene Community Power prices will be fixed for 24 months, December 2025 to December 2027, with Direct Energy as the supplier.

Visit www.KeeneCommunityPower.com to view all options and information about joining or leaving the program.

Reminder: The Citys

The Public Works Director has issued a Winter Weather Parking Ban starting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM. This ban includes all on-street parking, except any paid parking spaces (metered or kiosk). The parking ban will expand to include all paid parking (metered and kiosk) beginning at 10:00 PM on Tuesday night.

All parking bans (free and paid parking) will be lifted as of 8:00 AM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

While this parking ban is in effect, the Gilbo East, Elm Street, and Wells Street parking lots will remain open overnight for public use in the marked public (not reserved) spaces. (Please note: parking rates apply in parking lots Monday-Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you are using these alternative parking options between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, you are responsible for paying the normal parking fees.)

Visit www.KeeneNH.gov/snow for more info and to sign up for notifications.
