Beginning Monday, June 23, 2025 at 7:00 AM, the City’s contractor, SUR Construction West, Inc, will be starting construction on the Island Street Reconstruction Project in the vicinity of the Island Street bridge.
A lane of traffic will be closed and alternating one way traffic in place during construction in order to safely perform this work. Please seek alternate routes, be alert to the changing traffic patterns, be patient, and obey all traffic control personnel on site.
Ongoing construction activities on Island Street are anticipated until December 2025, weather permitting. We appreciate the public’s patience during this necessary work.
