Starting on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 8:00 AM the City’s contractor, SUR Construction West, Inc, will be installing concrete sidewalk on Island Street. During hours of construction Island Street at Winchester Street will be closed to through traffic and detoured to Pearl Street in order to safely perform this work.
Please be patient and observant of all traffic control personnel. If possible, seek an alternate route. Traffic will be restored to normal operations at the end of each business day. This work is anticipated to take six weeks to complete and additional updates will be provided.
