Building Owner: James L. Ellis of Spofford NH.
Injuries Reported: One civilian occupant of property transported for minor burns and smoke inhalation.
Summary of incident: Fire and Police units were dispatched 92 Victoria Street for a reported garage fire. Keene Fire and Keene Police units responded and arrived to find a well-involved one story residential garage. First alarm units arrived and quickly deployed three lines to knock down the fire and contain it to building of origin. Keene Police assisted by securing the street access to emergency units.
Injuries Reported: There was one injury to an occupant of the property. Patient injuries are related to thermal and smoke exposure to the fire. The patient was transported to Cheshire Medical Center for evaluation by Keene Fire crew.
Estimated Property Loss: The fire was contained to garage with no building exposures damaged. A vehicle that was adjacent to garage was damaged. The garage and the contents are a total loss. The fire department has not yet estimated the dollar loss.
