Notice is hereby given that the Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, August 27, 2026 in the office of the City Clerk for the purpose of accepting additions, changes and deletions to the voter checklist in advance of the September 8, 2026 State Primary. This will be the last opportunity to register to vote prior to the election.
In addition, the Supervisors will remove inactive voters and accept re-registered voters, as mandated to occur annually pursuant to RSA 654:39. New Hampshire law requires that the Supervisors of the Checklist verify the checklist every year. Any person on the checklist who has not voted in the past five years must re-register to remain on the checklist unless the voter registered after the last state general election. Affected voters were sent written notification at the address the voter provided on their registration form at least 30-days prior to the date of this session. Any voter so removed may also re-register on election day at the polls with proper proof of domicile, age, identity, and citizenship.
