Beginning Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 7:00 AM Casella Construction, Inc will begin digging exploratory test pits in Central Square. To safely perform this work road closures and detours on West Street and Roxbury Street will be necessary.
- West Street, between Central Square and School Street, will be closed to through traffic from 7:00 AM to approximately 12:00 Noon, with traffic being detoured to Gilbo Avenue.
- Roxbury Street, between Central Square and Franklin Street, will be closed to through traffic from 12:00 Noon to approximately 5:00 PM, with traffic being detoured to Beaver Street.
Access for local traffic will be maintained throughout the day.
