Fire Substantially Under Control, Crews Remain On Scene
November 6, 2025, 10:50 A.M.: The Keene Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at 20 Elliot Street in Keene this morning. The fire is substantially under control at this time. Three firefighters were transported to Cheshire Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Crews will continue to remain on scene as lingering flames and similar risks require attention, and an investigation into the cause of the fire will take place.

The mutual aid response of regional Fire and EMS staff and apparatus is critical and appreciated both in responding to the scene of the fire and in providing coverage to the community at large. The City is sincerely grateful to all responders.
