The 2026 Fire Prevention Parade will take place Sunday, October 4, at 1 PM in downtown Keene. Come cheer on Fire and EMS teams from across Cheshire County! You’ll see emergency vehicles, firefighters and EMS personnel, marching bands, and community groups along the parade route. This annual event is fun for all ages and gives our community a chance to come together and show our support for the people who help us when we need them most.
October 4–10 is Fire Prevention Week. Throughout the week, we’ll share fire prevention information and resources to help keep our community safe.
The parade will start on Marlboro Street, travel up Main Street, turn right onto Washington Street, and end near Keene’s Fire Station on Vernon Street.
