Airport Road, from just past the airport terminal to the Waste Water Treatment Plant entrance, will be closed to through traffic and recreational activities from June 9, 2025, through June 16, 2025, for roadway improvements. Access during this time will be limited to local traffic and authorized vehicles only. This restriction will be in place at all times, not only during business hours.
Project Timeline:
- June 9-10 (Monday-Tuesday): Surface Scarification
- June 10-11 (Tuesday-Wednesday): Intermediate Paving
- June 12-16 (Thursday-Monday): Final Paving
During this time, recreational use of the roadway—including jogging, dog walking, bicycling, and similar activities—is strictly prohibited. Please use alternate locations for such activities.
Important Reminders:
- Only local traffic and authorized access to the Waste Water Treatment Plant will be permitted.
- Please follow posted signage and use caution around construction crews.
- Work schedule is weather-dependent and may shift accordingly.
