Pickleball

Keene Parks & Recreation offers access to both indoor and outdoor pickleball courts.

OUTDOOR COURTS

  • Jonathan Daniels Courts (227 Maple Ave)
  • Water Street Courts (These are shared courts with basketball – please bring your own pickleball net)
  • Knight Street Courts (These are shared courts with tennis – portable pickleball nets are provided)
  • Wheelock Park Courts (These are shared courts with tennis – please bring your own pickleball net)

INDOOR COURTS

  • Keene Parks & Recreation Center gymnasium has 4 pickleball courts that are open October 1 through April 30.
  • Indoor court access is provided for 7 months, up to 5 days/week for up to 5 hours/day – be sure to check the KPRD calendar for detailed availability.
    • Indoor pickleball timeslots are available for Recreational Play, 70+ Play, Competitive Play.
    • Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Pickleball lessons are available throughout the indoor season (separate fee).
    • New this year – pickleball modules: focus on a particular skill for a 2-hour timeframe once a month.
  • Interested indoor players can pay a $5.00 daily drop-in fee, or, if you plan to come regularly, you can purchase a Pickleball Pass. 

2026-27 Full Indoor Pickleball Pass

  • October 1-April 30 (7 months) 
  • Access up to 5 hours/day, 5 days/week
  • Senior Resident: $120 (approximately $0.77/day)
  • Senior Non-Residents: $150 (approximately $0.97/day)
  • Keene Resident: $175.00 (approximately $1.17/day)
  • Non-Resident: $200.00 (approximately $1.29/day)

We’ve also added options for our snowbird population, recognizing that a handful of our pickleball players spend time down south during the winter months. This breaks the 7-month membership into 3 parts – players can choose the combination of established indoor season timeframes that work best for them.

  • Senior Resident: $50 ($17/month)
  • Senior Non-Resident: $65 ($22/month)
  • Resident: $70 ($23/month)
  • Non-Resident: $90 ($30/month)
  • 3 Month B: January 1 – March 31
