Community Engagement (FY27-28)

The City of Keene, CHA Solutions, and the Robin Hood Park Steering Committee welcomed public feedback for Phase II of the Robin Hood Park Renovation Project this fall. Thank you for joining us at the in-person Community Feedback Session on Tuesday September 15th and for providing feedback via the City’s online form through October 1st! Phase II feedback compilation and plans will be shared by our consultant team, CHA Solutions, soon.

Engineering Services (FY27-28)

  • The City selected CHA Consulting for engineering services after a competitive RFP process surrounding the Robin Hood Park Renovation Project (spring 2026)
  • Park Renovation schedule and work timeline priorities: Phase I – Pool Rehabilitation and Phase II – Park Space Renovation
    • Phase I: Rehabilitation of Robin Hood Pool & Pool House
      • Phase 1 scope: new pool deck, pool liner, pool cover, ladders, and ADA lift chair, improved shallow end stairway access, gutter/drainage improvements, and pool building enhancements including modified floor surfacing for improved safety and accessibility
      • CHA presentation of Phase I – Pool Rehabilitation – City Council MSFI Committee July 22, 2026
      • Weston & Sampson chosen as the Phase 1 construction firm through the City’s Purchasing Office bid process
        • Weston & Sampson Equipment will be moved in to the Robin Hood Pool area Wednesday, October 21st
        • Robin Hood Pool Construction will begin as early as Thursday, October 22nd
        • Robin Hood Pool Renovation will be completed by May 25, 2027
    • Phase II: Renovation of Robin Hood Park Space
      • Phase II scope: new program building, public restrooms, multi-sport court, and playground amenities, circulation improvements including additional parking, potential amphitheater upgrades, and prospective accessible fishing dock
