KPRD Community Call: Let’s Talk Red Pine Scale

We’re bringing together state, county, community, and urban foresters for a quick, informative online session about this invasive pest threatening our red pines. Tuesday, October 7th from 6:00-6:30pm. Join us!

Expanded Pickleball Opportunities
In addition to our dedicated Jonathan Daniels Pickleball Courts, we have resurfaced courts at Knight Street and Wheelock Park for “bring your own net” pickleball play. Indoor pickleball opened October 1st at the Brian A. Mattson Recreation Center. Become a Pickleball Pass member to play at the Rec!

Goose Pond Spillway Bridge Donation Program!
The Greater Goose Pond Forest is a 1,000+ acre community treasure. Join our stewardship community to make the popular Goose Pond Loop Trail more safe and accessible – with a new Spillway Bridge! Every donation will be matched – dollar for dollar up to $10,000 – through the generosity of the Savings Bank of Walpole.

Visit KeeneNH.gov/jobs to apply for seasonal positions in our parks and within our programming, including recreation assistants and sport officials.
