On March 14, 2025, President Trump’s Executive Order eliminated the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the source of federal funding for state libraries, museums, and archives. Effective March 31, IMLS staff were placed on administrative leave, halting all funding work. This will impact our library services, as IMLS funds, distributed through the NH State Library, support Interlibrary Loans, NH Downloadable Books (Libby), Talking Book Services for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, and a Technology Service Librarian at the State Library. The future of these service is uncertain. We will provide updates as they become available.

Pick-up Lockers will be available again on April 1. 2025. Please be aware that service may be intermittent as we still have some nights where the temperature will drop below freezing. Click here to learn more about our pick-up locker system.
