Project Scope

The project includes upgrades to the existing water, sewer, and stormwater drainage utilities along Marlboro Street. This work will be performed in 2019 following successful receipt of bids in late April.

In 2020 the project will resume with new granite curbing in areas, repair of concrete sidewalks, painted bicycle lanes, intersection safety improvements, repaving and striping the street, and a new bicycle and pedestrian connection between Marlboro Street and the Cheshire Rail Trail.

On Monday, March 4, 2019 Liberty Utilities plans to begin gas main replacement along Marlboro Street.

On Thursday, December 20, 2018 the City’s consultant, Dubois & King, Inc. will be coordinating a pavement coring program on Marlboro Street.

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018 the City’s consultant, Dubois & King, Inc. will be coordinating a pavement coring program on Marlboro Street.

On Wednesday, November 7 and Thursday, November 8, 2018, the City’s consultant, Dubois & King, Inc. will be accessing and evaluating the utility and drainage structures on Marlboro Street.
