KPRD Afterschool!
At Keene Parks & Recreation, we’re proud to offer the most comprehensive, engaging, and reliable afterschool program in the city – and the most affordable for Keene families. As afterschool options continue to shift across Keene, KPRD remains a steady, trusted home base for kids in grades 2–5 to grow, play, and stay connected every afternoon. With expanded capacity and a renewed focus on welcoming new families, now is the perfect time to join our afterschool community. We’ve expanded our Afterschool Program to host more children than in years past – openings are available!
KPRD Esports & More!
Our KPRD Esports & More! program is newly redesigned for grades 5-8 and open to just 16 participants per session. Esports room access – featuring PC, Xbox, Wii, Nintendo Switch, and VR – is provided Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:00-5:30. One day of offline gaming and adventure each week and daily snack are also included! There are three sessions open for registration this fall: Esports 1.0, Esports 2.0, Esports 3.0.
