Sign up for a Summer Reading and Learning Program on our Beanstack site.
The theme of our 2023 summer program is Find Your Voice! All summer long, we will provide opportunities to explore books, history, social justice, and STEAM. We hope this theme will empower people of all ages to make their voices heard.
Our voices have power. We use our voices to share stories, express ourselves, and spark change. Our voices include not only the sounds we
make, but the words we write, the art we create, the movements we perform, and the actions we take daily to impact our world.
Our Find Your Voice Summer Reading and Learning Program aims to encourage community members of all ages to read for pleasure, help them maintain and improve their reading skills, encourage them to become lifelong library users, and establish reading as a foundation for lifelong success.
Summer Reading and Learning: It's As Easy As 1, 2, 3. |
1. |
There are four separate programs at Keene Public Library:
You can sign up for one of our programs anytime, but our programs start on June 16. Sign up in person or on our Beanstack Reading Tracker. Each participant will receive program information and a free book. |
2. |
Start reading and listening to books or stories. Try to spend some time reading each day of the week. You can read or listen to any book you want. Our libraries can help you find quality, age-appropriate books, or you can choose your own. If you have read or listened during the week, you can visit the library to enter our RAFFLE FOR READERS. Each week, lucky readers will win special prizes. And if you track your reading on Beanstack, you can earn rewards as you read and complete activities. |
3. | Come to the library as often as possible to attend programs, get more reading material, and collect your reading rewards. |
