Keene Electricity Supply Options

We want to ensure you have all the information you need to make informed decisions about your electricity service supply. You continue to have options for your electricity supplier.

Keene Community Power (KCP)
Keene Community Power (KCP) is a City-operated group purchasing program that pools the electric use of residents, businesses, non-profits, and property owners to provide competitively priced electricity options. The Program offers Keene electricity customers with City-vetted alternatives to Eversource’s default service and other third-party suppliers, and it is part of a larger effort to transition to renewable energy with options ranging from a basic plan up to 100% renewable energy. You can learn more and enroll in KCP by visiting https://keenecommunitypower.com/. (Keene Community Power customers may leave the program at any time without penalty. If you leave the program, you may re-join at any time.)

Additional Suppliers
You are not limited to KCP. The State of New Hampshire provides a convenient online comparison shopping tool that lists plans from various electricity suppliers such as Eversource, additional third party suppliers, and other Community Power programs. You can access this comparison tool at https://www.energy.nh.gov/engyapps/ceps/shop.aspx. Many of these plans also provide renewable energy options.

Renewable Energy
The City of Keene is committed to a sustainable future, and we encourage you to consider renewable energy options to help reduce our community's carbon footprint and support the availability of clean energy sources.
