The Solarize Monadnock 2020 campaign will kick-off with a Solar Fair on Saturday, March 14th from 10 AM – 2 PM at 25 Production Avenue in Keene. Come get your solar questions answered by local volunteers and installers, win door prizes, enjoy local food trucks, and more!
Solarize Monadnock 2020 is a volunteer-led initiative to increase the number of local homes and small businesses with solar installations. This year, Solarize Monadnock will focus on Keene and Marlborough, with a goal to double the number of homes with solar in these two communities. To accomplish this goal, the Solarize campaign is partnering with six solar installers from the region to offer energy education and streamlined access to information, simplified access to installers’ services, and a chance to speak with local residents about their experience with solar systems on their own home roofs.
The goals of Solarize Monadnock 2020 are supported by the Keene City Council, the Marlborough Selectboard, and the Monadnock Sustainability Network, a 501-c3 organization.
