Green Up Keene, the annual event in which the community comes together to help beautify Keene, is set for Saturday, April 20, 2024. There will be a drive-thru supply pickup at Keene Public Works located at 350 Marlboro Street from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM or supplies can be picked up beforehand by coordinating with Andrea Madaglia at 603-352-6550 or amadaglia@keenenh.gov.

Typically, several hundred people turn out during Green Up Keene weekend and the days surrounding it to help clean up Keene's streets, trails and parks. The difference it makes is very noticeable and it is a great community-building effort!

The Public Works Department's Highway Division will place dumpsters prior to the event, and will drive specific routes the following Monday to pick up trash that has been collected by volunteers and placed in the blue “NH the Beautiful” bags.

A map of participating groups and the areas that they have adopted is available here.  If you would like to help out, take a look at the map and choose a spot that is near and dear to you and claim it - or just show up on Saturday the 20th and we'll send you to an area that needs attention!
