On Monday, March 27, 2023, work will resume for the Patricia T. Russell Park Reconstruction Project. Initial work includes grading for proposed sidewalks and play areas, sidewalk forming, and playground equipment installation. Remaining work to be completed this spring includes:
- Concrete sidewalk and plaza installation
- Installation of proposed restroom building
- Final pavement course for the walking path, parking lot, and on-street parallel parking spaces
- Pavement markings
- Final topsoil leveling and grass establishment
- Invasive species removal along Beaver Brook
- Placement of benches, picnic tables, and trash cans
