  • This program is for Keene youth, must be at least 14 years of age – but not yet 16 years as of June 1, 2024.
  • Available to work part time through various departments in the City for five weeks in July
  • Educates youth/parents regarding the everyday running of the city and local government

  • Summer Youth Timeline

    Stay updated regarding any important information and changes on the City of Keene Youth Services Facebook page.

    Tentative 2024 Timeline:

    • Fill out Summer Youth Workers Application by April 21st.
    • April 21st: Applications close.
    • April 22nd – May 3rd:  Interviews will take place
    • The first week of May: Youth will be notified regarding employment
    • The first week of June: Youth will be meeting with Youth Services on a weekly basis.
    • Tuesday, June 25th: Employment assignments begin.
    • The last week of July: The program ends.
